 In July 2022, CHELO was admitted in our shelter vet to be treated in a terrible condition. He was rescued by Esteban, and we did not hesitate to help him. He had tumors and severe malnutrition, possibly due to the cancer that had advanced too far. Seeing him like that broke our hearts. He had a high-risk surgery to remove the tumors and now he is slowly recovering. Chelo, skinny, weak and so beaten by life, behaved like a warrior.  We want him to have a better quality of life and all the love that people have not been able to provide in the past. He will remain hospitalized and in constant vet care, until his life is no longer in danger, he needs medication and special care.
